Recently it seems that I’ve been doin’ worse
Havin’ trouble just tryin’ to get out of bed
Well I’m doin’ what I can to shake this wicked curse
But it even hurts when I try to shake my head
Turns out these high speed crashes ain’t so cool
And I’m startin’ think the game's a bit unfair
Every year the show is gettin’ rougher
But I’m not gettin’ any tougher
No I think that I’m just gettin’ used to bein’ scared
So I’m out here waitin’ on the noose
‘Til somebody goes and turns me loose
And just like that the fear all fades away
It seems they’re always gettin’ bigger
It’s alright though, I’m still quicker
And I thank God that I don’t have to pray
Sometimes I can barely walk
So I give myself a talk
And remind myself somehow that this is fun
