Well I think found myself in a bit of a mess

All because like a fool I was tryin’ to impress

Yeah right about now I could certainly use a friend

"I’m not scared of them! I don't care what they think!"

So I marched myself down to the water for a drink

And it didn’t take long ... ‘til it all just didn’t feel right

There’s something big in the grass, something bigger in the water

And there’s vultures up above, and man it’s gettin’ hotter

And it’s quiet, too quiet, and it seems like there’s gonna be a fight

Because I’m pretty sure I’m surrounded, and I got nowhere to go
